Cortijo de las Ventajas is a 70-hectare property in Las Alpujarras, on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It's southwest of the village of Válor, in the province of Granada.

Las Ventajas (LV) is the entity in charge of project development. Currently, LV possesses the land and will supervise project design and construction. In addition, LV will create and direct, at least initially, a cooperative that will be called Cortijo de las Ventajas (CLV).

CLV is a cooperative that will be created for the purposes of possession and administration of all communal parts of the ownership. LV will create and put into action CLV during the final phase of construction, and, once 75% of the houses are sold, the functioning and handling of CLV will fall to the new owners. Every house sold will include an undivided share in CLV.
